FIRMS Fire Alerts experiencing technical difficulties

Dear Subscriber,

 

There will not be a fire alert email today, Tuesday October 21, 2008. A disk failure at the MODIS Rapid Response (MODIS RR) system is responsible for the lack for fire data and subsets. We will monitor the progress of the MODIS RR system, and send out the alerts as soon as the system is restored.
